RV College of Engineering offers admission to UG and PG courses through entrance exams or management quota seats.

To apply for admission to RVCE, students must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses:

• Must have 70% marks in Science and Mathematics in class 10th, separately.
• Must have 65% marks in Physics and Mathematics subjects separately in class 11th.
• Must have 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics subjects separately in class 12th/PUC.
• The student must have compulsorily appeared in and obtained a rank in any of the entrance exams: COMEDK, KCET, or JEE Mains.

Seat Reservation for UG Courses:

RVCE reserves seats under 4 categories for students taking admission through different modes, including merit, management quota, and NRI quota.

45% of the total seats are reserved for students who appear in the Karnataka CET entrance exam.

35% of the total seats are reserved for students who appear in the COMEDK entrance exam.

25% of the total seats are reserved for students who want direct admission under management quota seats.

An extra 5% of seats are available under the NRI quota for NRI/OCI/PIO students.

Entrance Exams for UG Courses Admission:

Karnataka CET and COMEDK are the two major entrance exams held every year for admission to RV College of Engineering.

Karnataka CET is conducted by the Government of Karnataka for admission to engineering colleges in Karnataka.

Only Karnataka state domicile students can apply for the KCET entrance exam.

COMEDK is conducted by the consortium of private engineering colleges in Karnataka.

All India students are eligible to participate in the COMEDK entrance exam.

Direct Admission (Management Quota):

Students who wish to join RV College of Engineering under the management quota have to pay higher tuition fees.

Apart from higher tuition fees, students must also pay a one-time development fee for management quota seats.

RV College of Engineering offers direct admission under 25% of its management quota seats.

Students who join RVCE through the KCET entrance exam have to pay an annual tuition fee of 1 Lakh INR.

Students who join RVCE through the COMEDK entrance exam have to pay an annual tuition fee of 2.90 Lakh INR.

Students taking admission through NRI & Management quota seats have to pay higher tuition fees.
