IMT Hyderabad Admission 2023: Highlights
To be eligible for IMT Hyderabad admission, candidates need to have a valid score in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT or IMT Hyderabad qualifying exam. The Institute has made a few changes in its admission criteria for the PGDM 2022-24 batch.
- Personal Interview (PI) round will be conducted online
- CMAT applicants can attend the PI round without a CMAT score. However, they must update their score on the release of CMAT 2021 results
IMT Hyderabad Admission 2023: PGDM
Institute of Management Technology Hyderabad offers a full-time residential PGDM programme of a two-year duration. The final selection of candidates for PGDM admission is based on their performance in the qualifying exam (best score in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT). Statement of Purpose (SOP), PI, and academic score.
- Candidates need to submit a Profile Detail Form (PDF) and SOP of around 300 words
- Shortlisted candidates will be asked to share a one-minute video of their introduction, background and career aspirations

Institute of Management Technology Hyderabad prepares the final merit of the candidates, which is based on a cumulative weighted average of the following parameters:
- CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT score
- Academic Scores (Class 10, Class 12 and graduation)
- Performance in Online PI round
- Work experience (for working candidates)
IMT Hyderabad Admission 2023: PGDM Executive
Apart from PGDM, Institute of Management Technology Hyderabad offers a PGDM Executive course for working professionals. Candidates must hold full-time corporate work experience of minimum three years. The programme will commence in September 2022.
- The final selection for PGDM Executive course is based on SOP and a candidate’s performance in the PI round

IMT Hyderabad Application Process 2023: PGDM
Candidates are required to visit the official website of IMT (www.imthyderabad.edu.in) to download the online application form. The application fee of the Institute is Rs. 2,000 plus taxes as applicable.
- Payment can be made through credit card/ debit card/ net banking
- In case a candidate cancels the admission due to any reason, the application fee is not refunded
IMT Hyderabad Admission 2023: FPM
IMT Hyderabad offers a Fellowship Programme in Management which will commence July, 2022. Candidates who are in their final year of the master’s programme can apply provisionally to the programme. The basic eligibility and selection criteria of IMT Hyderabad FPM course are shared below:
Eligibility Criteria:
Post-graduation or equivalent in any discipline (minimum 60%)
OR
Five-year integrated master’s degree programme in any discipline (minimum 60%)
OR
Graduation degree with a professional qualification (CA/ CMA/ CS)
Selection Criteria:
- Candidates applying for FPM at IMT Hyderabad are required to take the CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ UGC-NET test
- Test scores received between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2020, will be considered valid for admission
- Candidates must submit a research proposal of around 5,000 words in their respective area of research along with their form
IMT Hyderabad Application Process 2023: FPM
IMT Hyderabad application is available in online mode. The application fee is Rs 500 plus taxes as applicable, which can be paid by credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
After the online payment is made, the application form number is displayed, which must be noted down by the candidates for future reference.
- Candidates can also take a print-out of the submitted application form
