Who is Eligible for VIT for B Tech?

For those interested in pursuing B. Tech. Biotechnology or Biomedical engineering, the eligible combination is either Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) OR Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). A pass with Minimum aggregate of 55% in the above mentioned subjects in standard XII or its equivalent.

Does VIT offer Admissions through Management Quota?


There is no Management Quota in VIT. Admissions to B.Tech. programmed is based on the merit rank obtained in the VITEEE 2024 and for other Undergraduate programmers, it is based on the merit of your XII/ Higher Secondary Boards by which you would be ranked accordingly.



Is there lateral entry admission available for Diploma candidates?


‘No’. There is no lateral entry admission offered for B.Tech and UG programmed. Diploma holders (10+3) are eligible for B.Sc. Multimedia and Animation, Visual Communication, Fashion Designing (Chennai) with an overall aggregate of 60%.
